Bank of America views weak dollar

CURRENCY FORECASTS

Kamal Sharma, vice-president and currency strategist at BoA in London, said the bank anticipated the US dollar would remain under pressure during the first half of 2007.

"This was primarily because growing uncertainty over the state of the US economy reinforced market belief of the Fed having to cut rates this year," said Sharma.
