HSBC promotes Gupta
Gupta will report to Guy Harvey-Samuel, chief executive of HSBC Singapore, and to Gordon French, Hong Kong-based managing director for sales and regional treasury management in Asia-Pacific.
He was instrumental in developing the bank's multi-product sales platform business network in a highly competitive environment, said French.
Gupta will continue to work closely with regional corporations and financial institutions, and his new role will include management of HSBC's local balance sheet
