Commerzbank builds sales desk

The German bank has hired Stefan Hamberger to spearhead FX sales to banks ineastern Europe and Germany, Austria, Switzerland and Luxembourg.
Hamberger starts his new role in January, reporting locally to Peter Hahn, head of FX sales Germany, who covers corporates and institutions.
He currently works as an FX consultant to Zurich-based hedge fund JD FX.
Hamberger's last banking role was with rival German bank Dresdner Kleinwort Wasserstein (DrKW), where he was deputy head of e-FX sales in Frankfurt
