UniCredit appoints new global FX head

LONDON - UniCredit has named Dan O'Sullivan as its new global head of FX trading in London. O'Sullivan joins from HSBC in New York, where he most recently worked as head of FX trading, North America. In his new role, O'Sullivan will report to Ben Welsh, global co-head of fixed income, currencies and commodities. Welsh was also hired from rival bank HSBC, and began his new role in September. At the US bank, Welsh was head of FX, global metals and US rates in New York (FX Week, March 12).
