BarCap adds commodity-linked structured notes

From today (March 5), Barx users will be able to trade up to 200 commodity-linked notes, linked to a range of underlyings such as zinc, nickel and gold. The system gives users access to secondary market liquidity BarCap offers in structured products.

The platform enables trading in 2,800 products across equities, interest rates and commodities.

A spokesperson for the bank in London said more asset classes will be added later this year. Products linked to interest rates were added in January.
