Simmonds joins Saxo board
Saxo Bank is set to take former Citibank FX chief Julian Simmonds on to its board, as it continues to build its presence globally.
Simmonds was most recently global head of FX and structured products at the US bank, which he joined in 1972 and retired from in 2001. He was introduced to Saxo by General Atlantic, the private equity firm that bought a $126.5 million stake in it last summer (FX Week, June 20, 2005). He becomes the third international member of Saxo's seven
