Banks risk US regulatory backlash

Rising concern at the extent of fraud involving the mis-selling of products and poor advice by brokers to the retail public has prompted fears of regulatory repercussions upon banks.

Bob Pickel, chief executive officer and executive director of the International Swaps and Derivatives Association (ISDA), told FX Week that regulators are concerned about the sale of products to unsuspecting and unversed clients.
