Bear Stearns widens its footprint in western Europe

The bank opened its new office in Paris on June 1, and has hired Charles-Henri Gridel to work in institutional FX sales from the new location. Gridel will report to Bernd Broker, London-based head of FX in Europe, when his role begins at the end of June.

Gridel will join institutional FX salesperson Stéphane Prunier at the Paris office. Prunier also joins at the end of the month, reporting to Broker. He previously headed BNP Paribas' Paris-based institutional FX sales team before leaving in March
