TMS rises as European banking falls

"We firmly believed the market had not fully anticipated the banking sector problems in Europe. It was just a matter of time before we saw some European banks having the same problems as the US banks," said Mariusz Potacza³a, chief executive at TMS Brokers in Warsaw.

The broker also expected continued strength from the US dollar as negative expectations regarding the US economy shifted to the rest of the developed world. "We had been dollar positive for a number of months," said Potacza³a.
