Based in Paris, Topolanski will oversee the global FX French team. He will also run the FX options business, replacing Richard Giltner, who transfers to another department. Giltner is likely to remain in Paris, said the bank.
Topolanski will report to Lars Hakanson, head of global FX activities, Europe and Asia in London. Hakanson said the expansion justified the creation of the new role and, with Topolanski in Paris the responsibilities can be shared between the two.
