RBS appoints global FX head

LONDON - Royal Bank of Scotland has created a new global head of foreign exchange role to help manage risk across spot and options.

Mark Barnes started in the London-based post on June 26, but also continues in his current role as global head of FX options. Unifying the spot and options elements of the FX business will enable more effective risk management and internal communication, and help improve the service to clients, the bank said.
