StanChart deploys Eurobase FX link

The bank is deploying Eurobase's Siena XML Gateway to add "a layer in the existing trading infrastructure at [Standard Chartered Bank]", said David Mallinder, head of business development and sales at Eurobase. The new link is not replacing any existing software at the bank, according to Mallinder. "It is complementing the current infrastructure," he said. "It allows for more connections to stream prices out for execution."
The gateway can communicate in various versions of the XML protocol
