Citi shuts down Nordic offices

Thirteen FX sales staff in these centres were affected with some moving to a London based Scandi team and others offered alternative employment within the bank.

The bank said it had made the changes because it would be able to better serve its customer base by concentrating resources in a single centre. Officials at rival banks based in the region said that Citi was being seen less as a competitor in Scandinavia.
