International Assets expands in Hong Kong

Malcolm Wilde, chief executive of International Assets for Asia in Hong Kong, told FX Week the company is currently applying for a Type 3 licence with the Securities and Futures Commission in Hong Kong. He expects to receive approval in six to eight weeks.

Wilde said International Assets will build a team of 10 in Hong Kong by the end of this year. The current team of five is led by Randal Tiu, former head of foreign exchange in Asia with Standard Bank in Hong Kong.
