LavaFX builds up sales in New York

Perkins joins the firm from a sales role at BNP Paribas. He will report to David Ogg, head of LavaFX, until a head of sales has been appointed.
Perkins previously also worked at Dresdner, BarCap and Chemical Bank.
Ogg said that the firm is still looking to build up its sales force with further hires in New York and London.
Ogg himself was made a managing director at Citigroup in January this year, in a bid to maintain the same corporate structure throughout the group, he said.
