RBS breaks into Russian market

Johnny Cameron, director of RBS Group in London, said Russian organisations are increasingly seeking access to more sophisticated ways to manage their financial exposure. The deal is also the first of its kind for RBS in Russia.

Under the agreement, the two banks will jointly provide foreign exchange, interest rate and credit derivatives to government, corporate and institutional clients in Russia.

"RBS and Renaissance will work in partnership to originate structure, manage and distribute risk,"
