CURRENCY FOCUS – SWEDISH KRONA

The krona started the year at 9.00 to the euro and has fallen to around 9.20. Robert Bergqvist, head of trading strategy at SEB in Stockholm, said: "Sweden has low inflation and unemployment, and a strong balance of payments surplus, so on one level it's surprising the currency has lost value."
