HSBC's Welsh takes top spot at UniCredit
UniCredit has named Ben Welsh as its new global co-head of fixed income, currencies and commodities (FICC). Welsh began his new role in London in mid-September and is responsible for increasing the global franchise alongside co-head Kurt Szesny, who is based in Munich. In his new role, Welsh reports to Willi Hemetsberger, head of global markets at the bank.
Welsh previously worked as head of FX, global metals and US rates at HSBC in New York before
