Staff shedding continues at JP Morgan

In New York, Gary Taratunio, who worked in senior FX sales to hedge funds, is rumoured to have been let go by JP Morgan. He is now said to be interviewing for roles with rival US investment banks in New York.

Taratunio originally joined the US dealer in June 2003 as a senior FX salesperson from AIGForex in Greenwich, where he was an FX options salesperson (FX Week, June 30). At JP Morgan, he reported to Scott Gallopo, global head of hedge funds and head of institutional sales in New York.
