ABN Amro departures highlight staff jitters

Cyril Cheng, who worked in institutional FX sales at ABN Amro in Hong Kong, is said to have resigned from his role at the bank. ABN Amro is also thought to have lost Dmitry Matrosov, who worked in the region as an FX structurer. Both Cheng and Matrosov's future plans are currently unknown.

"Some of the other EU houses have shown a real interest in ABN's businesses across the region, targeting the potential instability caused by recent macro developments," said a recruitment consultant in Hong
