A return to vanilla

Dealers polled by FX Week said client interest is shifting from exotic structures, such as structured products, to simpler, more transparent, easy-to-price products. Dealers say a shift to plain vanilla structures is likely to be the main theme next year, as investors seek to recover the losses they incurred due to exposures through exotic options.
