Kim trades ML for JP Morgan

Robert Kim, an Asian currency trader at Merrill Lynch in New York, has left the bank, the desk confirmed. Kim is tipped to join US rival JP Morgan, also in New York.

The latter declined to comment on the move.

Kim reported to Harry Lengsfield, who has taken on the responsibilities of global head of FX trading vacated by Marcus Browning last month (FX Week, February 6). Last week, FX Week reported that Merrill lost its New York-based global head of forex, Stephen Kemp.
