Record trading for FX Connect and CME

CME FX futures and options set a new volume record with 892,416 contracts traded representing more than $102 billion in notional value on June 13. Its previous record of 872,271 contracts was on December 12, 2005.

Last Thursday, the exchange saw the highest ever level of eurodollar options on futures contracts traded, representing 17% of the total volume traded on the market. This represents a 68% increase over the previous record set on April 27, 2005.

FX Connect has also seen record trading
