ABN Amro loses sales staff amid merger talks

Ezio Ceresa, who from 2004 worked for ABN Amro in London in FX and derivatives sales to Italian institutions, is said to have left at the end of last month. In June, he will join Société Générale Corporate and Investment Banking as head of FX sales to financial institutions in southern Europe, as part of the French bank's continuing FX expansion. Ceresa will report to Cyril Beriot, head of FX institutional sales.
