UBS names new global head of rates

UBS has named David Martin as its new global head of rates based in Stamford, Connecticut, the bank confirmed. Martin replaces Simeon Schwartz, who has taken up a new role as global head of structured products also in Stamford. Martin formerly headed the mortgage- and asset-backed securities business for the Swiss bank. Both he and Schwartz report to Simon Bunce, global head of fixed income in London.
