Launched on November 16, FX Map is designed to provide users with transparency, flexibility and liquidity in the hedge fund space.
Seppo Leskinen, head of hedge fund services at SEB Merchant Banking in London, said the reason it has launched the offering now is twofold. "It is a way for us to establish ourselves further," he said. "And we know our core client base has been making alternative investments and in FX alpha products, so we had to build a product to suit their needs."
