The futures and options on the futures are now being traded on the electronic exchange, having previously only traded on the Nybot floor-based open auction markets.
A spokesperson for the exchange in Atlanta said the FX market is an important part of ICE's growth strategy. "In bringing electronic trading to Nybot's unique suite of currency contracts, we are able to distribute these contracts more broadly and increase liquidity," she said.
