Korea to relax currency restrictions

The South Korea Ministry of Finance and Economy will abolish all foreign exchange trading restrictions other than 'safeguard regulations', it said last week.

Han Duck-soo, deputy prime minister and minister of finance and economy, had earlier hinted at this liberalisation.
