Société Générale Expands In Singapore With Regional Desk And EMS Push In Play

Société Générale has been actively expanding its treasury operation in Singapore since January, when the bank established the city-state as its main regional liquidity centre. Country and FX manager François Naude says he wants to make SocGen the premier bank quoting EMS currencies and crosses in the region by the end of the year. He also plans to open an Asian currency desk by July.
