EBS Racks Up 969 Trades on Day One
Volume and liquidity were "surprisingly good" on the first day of trading for the Electronic Broking Service last week, according to dealers in London and New York.
The bank-owned automated FX matching service went live September 15 in 54 dealing rooms in London, New York, Zurich and Amsterdam, racking up 969 transactions on that day, according to EBS Partnership chairman Peter Bartko.
