Currency Funds Managers Win Big In June But Success Follows Bleak Five Month Stretch

Currency fund managers, particularly those that use technical trend following systems, are finally basking in the sunshine again after five months of stormy weather, fund managers across the country say. In fact, the last six weeks have been so good that some managers have been able to turn, what one manager referred to as the worst stretch in five years, back into the black.

An informal survey of some of the largest currency fund managers in the U.S. revealed gains of between five and 25 percent
