CME's New Globex2 Promises To Revive The Old After-Hours Trading Platform

CHICAGO--The Chicago Mercantile Exchange (CME) promises to reinvent the unpopular Globex after-hours electronic trading system when it releases Globex2 in September. The Merc began offering user training courses in Chicago last week and will extend these to London and New York, followed by Asia in July, says an official.

The new version uses the same Nouveau Systeme de Cotation (NSC) developed by the Societe des Bourses Francaises (SBF), but is using the Globex2 brand name for its purposes. The
