Voice Brokers May See Further Consolidation Unless Technology Investments Prove Fruitful

With automated matching services now claiming as much as 50 per cent of global marketshare in spot FX, some market sources augur that an even further consolidation among the major money brokers may be necessary--with some predicting that as few as one-and-a-half major brokerages will survive. But all is not bleak for the traditional voice broker, as market participants say they can use technology to their advantage.
