Morgan Stanley Dean Witter reports trading income from principal transactions, including FX, for the three months ended February 28, of $903 million, up 4 per cent from $869 million for the same period a year ago. The figure was also up nearly 10 per cent from the $822 million reported for the previous quarter.
The Bank of Japan reports average daily dollar/yen turnover volume for the week ended March 27 was $11.81 billion, down from $13.17 billion reported the previous week ended March 20
