Merrill Lynch Targets Pacific Rim Adds Two Advisors From Citibank

Merrill Lynch International Bank (MLIB) continues to beef up its Singapore foreign exchange trading operation and has just hired two FX advisors from Citibank New York to supplement its staff there. "In keeping with our strategy, we've targeted the Pacific Rim as an area of major focus for us," says Brian Lippey, global foreign exchange sales manager at MLIB in New York.

The two advisors are Simon Jagot, a native Australian who worked at Citi's Sydney office for about five years before joining
