Philadelphia Stock Exchange Set To File Long Dated Currency Options Proposal

The Philadelphia Stock Exchange, busy getting ready to launch its cross rate options, is set to file a proposal to trade long dated currency options as well. The proposal, which the exchange is hoping to get into the Securities and Exchange Commission's (SEC) hands this week, will likely include plans for 18 month, 24 month and 36 month currency options contracts, an exchange official says.

The exchange's plan to add long dated currency options to its product group reflects its continuing efforts
