Korea First Bank (KFB) has purchased the Catalyst front-to-back-office derivatives trading system from Cats Software of California. Catalyst is the first integrated derivatives trading and risk management system implemented by a Korean bank. It was installed in time to meet the new mark-to market accounting rules introduced by the Korean authorities last month.
