Union Bank of Switzerland has hired Seth Cohen, previously a senior salesman at Merrill Lynch specializing in mutual fund business, as its new FX sales head in New York, confirms Ken Gettinger, UBS's FX and precious metals manager. Cohen replaces Laura Jean McCarthy, who left the bank in June (FXW, June 17). Cohen starts August 12.
