GFI unveils Fenics 2002 upgrade Currenex adds banks, eyes fund clients

LONDON -- JP Morgan and Deutsche Bank last week joined Currenex as price providers to its online forex trading platform FXtrades.

Bringing two of the world’s largest forex players to Currenex, the firm hopes the move -- predicted in FX Week on April 22 -- will add to the previously corporate-focused platform’s growing appeal to the fund manager community.

JP Morgan has already used the platform to trade with one fund client, AXA Investment Managers, having linked to the system within half a day
