Liffe reports Euribor futures volume of 3,253,448 contracts traded in August, a 6 per cent decrease from July's figure of 3,474,940 contracts. Average daily volume was 147,884 contracts and open interest stood at 1,170,785 positions at month-end. Volume in Euribor options was 416,380 contracts in August, a 1 per cent increase from volume in July of 411,170 contracts. Average daily volume was 18,926 and open interest stood at 753,795 positions at month-end.
