GFInet selects internet firm

NEW YORK – Inter-dealer broker GFInet has selected Metromedia Fiber Network to provide the internet infrastructure for its recently launched FX options trading system.

The system replaces technology provided by California-based firm Exodus Communications, which is one of the latest technology firms to suffer in the flailing dotcom industry.

A GFInet spokesperson told FX Week that trading on GFInet’s online FX options platform would not be disrupted by the firm’s decision to change
