Citi hires FX hedge fund veteran

NEW YORK -- Citigroup FX has hired veteran hedge fund sales specialist Anu Jayanti to head a new sales desk for leveraged institutional clients.
Jayanti, who has managed institutional FX sales for some of the top names in the FX industry, will be the global sales manager for the group when she joins in New York at the end of October.
London-based Lars Olesen, global head of FX sales for CitiFX, was not available to comment on whether the creation of Jayanti’s role signifies the bank is seeing
