BoE Seminar On BIS's 'Orange Book' Focuses On Settlement Risk Reduction

Executives from more than 200 banks in London attended a seminar recently by the Bank of England to promote greater attention to reducing FX settlement risk. The seminar follows the Bank for International Settlements' publication earlier this year of the so-called "Orange Book", a report on FX settlement risk that urges the private sector to do more (FXW, April 1).
