FX Committee Recommends Best Practices For Conversion To Euro

NEW YORK--The Foreign Exchange Committee, an industry body affiliated with the Federal Reserve Bank of New York, has published a series of recommendations on the operational impact of the single European currency on forex trading operations (FXW, May 18).

The paper recommends best practices for a variety of issues, including deal conversions, payments and holiday calendars.

The committee's paper, "EMU: Guide to Operational Issues in the Foreign Exchange Market", was presented on Friday, June 12
