Bank Of Montreal Consolidates FX, Shedding Staff In NY And Chicago

Bank of Montreal (BMo) continues to consolidate its North American FX business, shedding staff in New Yolk and Chicago, officials confirm. A total of eight people have been released between the two centres - four traders in Chicago and four sales dealers in New York.

These cuts, which include senior advisors Robert Hinton, Ken Nixon and Debra Pastor in New York, are part of a two-year delayed reaction to a desk that had become bigger than was necessary, following BMo's
