JPMC auto-prices for Currenex

LONDON -- Multi-bank FX trading portal Currenex announced last week that JP Morgan Chase has become the first bank to provide automated pricing to its platform.

All other banks using the Currenex platform enter prices manually, a spokesperson at Currenex told FX Week.

The service is likely to be used for vanilla and more simple trade execution, while more complex trades will likely remain manual, the spokesperson said, adding the bank may set caps on the amounts that may be dealt automatically.
