CIBC Wood Gundy Restructures FX Under New Global Head Horrocks

CIBC Wood Gundy has made a number of senior appointments, including a new global FX head, as the second step in its previously announced restructuring of FX as a stand-alone business (FXW, August 12). The bank is continuing to focus on its Canadian dollar franchise to create a stronger regional presence, while refocusing its non-Canadian activities on proprietary trading and client-driven business, officials say.
