Royal Bank Posts C$40 Million FX Trading Revenues In 3rd Qtr.

The Royal Bank of Canada posted foreign exchange trading revenues of C$40 million in the third quarter ended July 31, according to officials there. Other large Canadian banks refused to break out foreign exchange trading revenue for the period.

Royal Bank improved on its second quarter gains, which amounted to C$30 million, but failed to improve on the foreign exchange trading revenues it posted during the same period a year ago. FX trading revenues during that period also totalled C$40 million.
