ABN Amro N.V., already ranked 11th in the world for foreign exchange dealing according to the most recent Euromoney survey, is aggressively expanding its capabilities in North America, executives say.
With the recent appointment of Ronald Holzer, Harris Trust & Savings' chief dealer for more than a decade, as senior vice president of foreign exchange for ABN Amro USA, the Dutch bank hopes to gain market share through his experience and expertise (FX Week, May 24).
