A six month amnesty of the theft of software has resulted in Astrogamma gaining extra revenue of $500,000, thanks to settlements with some of the world's leading financial institutions, officials say. Astrogamma produces Fenics, the global software for currency options.

The amnesty was announced last December to encourage users to confess their software infringements. Astrogamma suspected that some of its customers and potential clients were using Fenics illegally

As a result of the amnesty
